About the Pinnacle Awards
Presented by the National Association of Government Webmasters
Are you proud of your website or an application on your website? If so, here’s your chance to see how your site compares to others similar to your organization. Deadline for entries is July 1, 2011.
2011 Competition
Cost
The cost is $50 per entry. Only NAGW members are eligible to enter their sites for consideration.
Payment for Pinnacle Awards will be sent after your entry is reviewed. A Google Checkout invoice will be sent in the amount of $50 to the email contact you enter. Your payment must be received in full by July 8, 2011 for your entry package to be considered eligible. Otherwise, your entry will be disqualified for this year’s competition.

Judges
Pinnacle Awards will be judged by a group of web professionals from inside and outside of government web development. If you’re interested in being a judge for 2011, send an email to the Pinnacle Chair..
Categories
A Pinnacle Award and a Member’s Choice Award will be given in each of three city/county population groups (high, medium, and low) as well as a State/NGO category.
Sponsor’s Choice Award is chosen from among all entries at the discretion of the Award Sponsor.
Scoring Criteria
Each site will be judged using the eight scoring criteria:
- Team Size
- Content
- Organization
- Design
- Function
- Accessibility
- Standards
- Interactivity
Awards banquet
All conference attendees are invited to attend the awards banquet. (A ticket will be included in your conference packet.)
Pinnacle Awards banquet and opening reception guest tickets
Guest tickets will be available for purchase starting April 18, 2011.
Guest tickets are available for the cost of $60. Includes the opening reception and the Pinnacle Awards banquet (no breakfast/lunch).
