NAGW 2012 National Conference Call for Speakers

The National Association of Government Webmasters (NAGW) is now accepting speaking proposals for the 2012 NAGW National Conference September 12-14, 2012 in Kansas City, Missouri. To submit a proposal, please fill out the form and submit no later than March 16.

The National Association of Government Webmasters (NAGW) is now accepting speaking proposals for the 2012 NAGW National Conference in Kansas City, MO, September 12-14. NAGW is seeking presenters who are willing to share knowledge and ideas and present on new technologies and trends. The deadline for submitting proposals online is March 16, 2012.

The focus of the NAGW National Conference is to bring together local government webmasters who share similar goals and issues. The conference is open to any web professional looking to enhance their skills.

Regular conference presentations are 90 minutes which includes a 10-minute question-and-answer period. Pre-conference (hands-on) sessions, held on September 11, will be four (4) hours long with both morning and afternoon slots available. Speakers may be requested to repeat sessions. Some topics might include:

  • Progressive Enhancement
  • Accessibility
  • Drupal
  • JQuery
  • Government Website Trends
  • Design/Branding/Style Guide Creation
  • Open Source Tools

  • Open Source/Collaborative Code
  • Open Data
  • Responsive/Mobile Web
