Ron Pringle
After a long and varied career in the publishing and advertising industries as an art and creative director, Ron became the web developer for the City of Aurora, Illinois in 2004, where he is responsible for all aspects of the city’s websites, including design, content and programming.
Ron is a steadfast advocate for accessible, CSS-based web design. In addition to css and accessibilty, his other professional interests include PHP, MySQL, RSS and a growing interest in social media including Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.
Ron has a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Illinois State University. When not working on websites, Ron enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, tending to his 130 year old victorian house and collecting Japanese toys. Ron also spends time riding his motorcycle and hopes to own a Royal Enfield Bullet 500 ES Classic sometime soon!
Ron is the current President of NAGW.
